| Job
Title and Description: |
Site
Coordinator for VIK (Very Important Kids) It is
a before and after school program that is a lot like daycare
for big kids. It is pretty rewarding and a lot of
fun. Who knew you could get paid to color??? |
| How
long have you been there: |
about
a year |
| Any
other work related history you want to share: |
I
am also an accomplished bartender, DJ, food and beverage
manager, production assistant, receptionist, intelligence
applications apprentice and mother. I've lived a
little, loved a little. |
|
Your
Family |
| Tell
us about your family. Are you married? Were you married?
Any kids? We want to know everything (that you are willing
share) |
I
have a gorgeous daughter, Keelyn Catherine, that was born
February 19, 2003. The clock was ticking and I felt
it was time that I became a mother. I didn't want
to be an old mom. I am not married and have no prospects
as of this moment. My daughter is enough for me
right now. It's like Gilmore Girls over here. |
|
Let's
go back in time |
| What
is your favorite West Chicago memory: |
"Cali
or Bust" in the middle of winter with the top down
on Molly's car, Lisa Guarino aka Kradle...I have a loyalty
to the girl and the stories are between us, let's just
say it was, and still is, always interesting,Fox Valley
Mall (Tom Van Fleet...my girls know what I'm talking about)
and just plain hanging out when innocence was slowly being
peeled away. |
| What
is your least favorite West Chicago memory: |
The
moment I realized I wasn't invincible, the day Donnie
Owens died. |
| Who
was your favorite teacher at West Chicago and why: |
Mr.
Lemon, the man was like Jerry Garcia. Need I say
more? |
| Who
was your least favorite teacher at West Chicago and why: |
My
chemistry teacher Sophomore year. What was that
guy's name? He treated me horribly and exploited
my lack of Chemistry knowledge. If anyone sees him
tell that guy that I got an "A" in Chemistry
when I dropped his class and got a new teacher. |
| What
was your favorite class at West Chicago and why: |
Journalism,
it was my stepping stone to unleashing my personality
and really developing my writing style. |
| What
was your least favorite class at West Chicago and why: |
Chemistry,
sophomore year |

Everything
Else |
| If
there is something you want to share please feel free
to tell us what it is. You can include any hobbies, volunteer
work and what ever else is on your mind. |
I
moved to Arizona the middle of my Junior year, went to
college, worked, joined the Air Force, fell in love too
many times, moved back to Chicago, found myself, partied
like a rock star, fell in love again (so I thought), found
my calling, moved back to Arizona, fell in love for good
with my gorgeous daughter, and discovered that being a
mother is harder than I thought. I miss Chicago,
but the best thing for Keelyn is to be near her grandparents
and her uncles. |
