School
after West Chicago
|
| Did
you attend any other schools or training classes? If so,
Where did you go? |
BS
from Truman State University (northeast Missouri) and
some Computer network architecture training |
| What
was your degree: |
Justice
Systems |
| Did
you join a Fraternity or Sorority? Which one? |
Alpha
Phi Omega, a coed service fraternity, but I joined because
it was about a 4:1 female to male ratio. Go figure. |
|

| Job
Title and Description: |
pig |
| How

4
1/2 years |
| Any
other work related history you want to share: |
The
only honest (and therefore dead broke) cable guy in St.
Louis for about a year. |
|
Your
Family |
| Tell
us about your family. Are you married? Were you married?
Any kids? We want to know everything (that you are willing
share) |
I'm
lucky enough to have found a intelligent and beautiful
wife that still chooses to hang out with me despite knowing
all my dirty little secrets (what my breath smells like
in the morning, exactly how few pairs of clean drawers
I possess at any given time, etc.) |
|
Let's
go back in time |
| What
is your favorite West Chicago memory: |
Making
those movies with Brett, JJ, Steve and Ryan. Hey (Mr.
Leitner, Miss Austin, Ms. Tunt, Mr. Zimmerman), instead
of actually doing your assignment can we make a movie
that has absolutely nothing to do with any lesson you're
trying to teach? Thanks. |
| What
is your least favorite West Chicago memory: |
I
think Abby Hutchins may have been the only class of 93
member to see this. On a U of I day trip we had intermission
for some performance out in the lobby of this concert
hall. I thought it would be a great idea to slide down
the bannister from the second floor to the first, in full
view of the other 500 people there. In case you
don't know, polyester dress pants have no friction on
varnished wood. I hit about Mach 3 down that bannister,
fell off, rolled down the last ten steps, and somehow
hit my spine so hard that I couldn't stand up for about
five minutes. You haven't lived until you've had
500 strangers pointing and laughing at you while you're
laying on the ground, unable to stand up. |
| Who
was your favorite teacher at West Chicago and why: |
It's
gotta be Mr. Leitner. After getting used to his 1 seven
page paper per week pace for the last semester of school,
nothing in college was very tough. |
| What
was your favorite class at West Chicago and why: |
Chemistry
with Karl Coyner or AP Chem with Ms. Tunt would be a tossup.
Watching Mr. Coyner pick up 1000 degree beakers with his
bare hands or making giant bubbles in dish soap with the
gas line and then setting them on fire in Ms. Tunt's class
were both pretty memorable. |
|
Everything
Else |
| If
there is something you want to share please feel free
to tell us what it is. You can include any hobbies, volunteer
work and what ever else is on your mind. |
Looking
forward to the reunion. |
